Pudding Press

Hello & Welcome!

I’m Rachael, and this here is my little blog – Pudding Press – an outlet for my love of reading and writing.

What to expect?
My intentions with this blog are fairly open-ended. As a testament to my lovely blue and white British Shorthair kitten, I have cherished this blog with the domain “Pudding Press” since her name – rather shockingly, I know – is Pudding… And yes, there will likely be many posts on the kitten search, bringing her home for the first time and settling her in, and plenty of Pudding updates!

Alongside that, as an avid reader and a keen creative writer (sadly with a very slow social life now that I’ve moved up to London from Kent), I hope to also post book reviews and recommendations on the latest things I’ve read or my forever favourites, topics and hobbies that interest me, the odd short story or creative piece, and just general life updates. I’m hoping this blog will connect me with people of similar interests, so if any of that sounds like something you’d enjoy, I would love for you to join me and Pudding!

Thank you for visiting!

Book Review: Sally Thorne’s “The Hating Game”

Let’s be clear, I tend to avoid romance novels. In fact, I don’t think I’ve read a full on romance since I was teenager and hopelessly obsessed with Divergent, the Mortal Instruments, the Gallagher Girls series, and – of course – Twilight, which I honestly read about 20 times. I still have my rather beaten up…
